Sullivan has had a very good two days and so far no more infection, they grow his blood culture for another day just to be sure. He is almost off the nitric oxide and his withdrawal program is going much better. I, on the other hand, am exhausted.
Great news about the infection AND the nitric oxide AND the withdrawal! We all keep saying it, but Sully...you are the man! So sweet and so strong. You look so cozy and cudley in your blankets too. Now tell your mommy to put her feet up and close her eyes!! ;)
You are such a motivating factor in all our lives, Tara. Your strength of the human spirit shines through Sully! I just want to shout it from the mountain tops.... "Go, Sully, go!" He's an amazing little fella who couldn't have chosen his parents more carefully.
Do take Jenny's advice and have a little rest yourself.
